Discover Petroleum AS pre-qualified as Operator

The Ministry of Oil and Energy has pre-qualified Discover Petroleum AS as Operator.
"This is an important milestone for the company. Now, we will be in a position to operate our own licenses which implies increased flexibility and new business opportunities, managing director Lars T. Bjerke says". The company has applied as operator in APA 07 and is awaiting the award of new licenses. The company has at present shares in three licenses; two in the Barents Sea and one in the Norwegian Sea.
