New license for Front Exploration

The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has awarded the oil company Front Exploration a new production license on the Norwegian continental shelf.
”We are pleased to be granted an extension in our portfolio”, says CEO of Front Exploration, Yngve Vassmyr.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has awarded production licenses in the Awards in Predefined Areas round for 2011.
Front Exploration will keep on exploring in the North Sea, and the Tromsø-based oil company now has a total of 11 licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The new license awarded today will strengthen Front Explorations presence in the ”Stordbassenget”, where the company already holds a portfolio.
