We herby invite shareholders of Discover Petroluem AS, to apply for new shares in Discover Petroleum AS, during the periode commencing on 17 February 2010 at 09:00 and ending on 23 February at 16:00 hours CET.

Reference is made to the call on 5 February 2010 for an extraordinary general meeting in Discover Petroleum AS on 12 February 2010 where, amongst other, a private placement directed at the two largest shareholders of the company and a power of attorney to the Board to further increase the share capital of the company is proposed.

Discover Petroleum has been awarded 20% shares in license PL518 B in the Barents Sea.

The Pumbaa well 6609/10-2 is completed and no hydrocarbons have been proven.

Discover Petroleum made its presence during the Norwegian Science Week (Forskningsdagene) in Tromsø. At our booth, we explained how a modern exploration company locates oil, and we offered a hands-on experiment where the audience could see that oil is an electrical insulator, while salt water is an electrical conductor.

The Trolla well is now completed and no hydrocarbons have been proven.
The operation has been according to schedule and without any accidents.

Altogether 37 teams from 13 different countries were registered, each team consisting of five employees. The games consisted of five adrenalin filled challenges, and they involved off-road bicycling, orienteering, running, and canoeing, in addition to several mental challenges

Discover has submitted an application for licenses in APA ("Award in Pre-define Areas") 09 which had application date 15.09.09.

Discover is approaching the spud of the exploration well 6609/10-2 within the production license 483S in the Norwegian Sea . Discover holds a 30% participating interest  in the license. 
The operation is planned for 30 days  with a spud date at 3th of September 2009.

Discover Petroleum started a 90 days PetroMarker electromagnetic (EM) campaign late May 2009. The vessel Polar Bjørn from Rieber has successfully been acquiring data in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea. Data are being acquired in licensed as well as open acreage.

The Annual General Meeting at Discover Petroleum AS resolved on 30 June 2009 a capital increase in the company in accordance with the proposal made in the call for the meeting.

Following a challenging period over the last 9 months facing a difficult financial market, the company's largest shareholders, bondholders, warrantholders and main contractor yesterday, on 23 June 2009, reached an agreement for the restructuring of the company's financial relations and commitments, and the contribution of new equity. The solution will in the short term provide a good foundation for the funding of the company's exciting exploration program in 2009 and 2010, and in the longer term provide Discover with a good foundation for securing financing beyond 2010.
